Eye of the Butterfly

One night a Chinese sage had a dream in which he was a butterfly fluttering above meadows and gardens. When he woke up, he sat at the edge of his bed and wondered, "Am I a human who just dreamed he was a butterfly or am I a butterfly who is now dreaming he's a human?" good question. The story reminded me of another statement by Edgar Alan Poe: "All that we are or seem to be is a dream within a dream."
