In 1934 the new liner was launched by Queen Mary as RMS Queen Mary. On her way down the slipway, Queen Mary was slowed by eighteen drag chains, which checked the liner's progress into the Clyde, a portion of which had been widened to accommodate the launch.[12]

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER TO CHASE ONE'S DREAM I spent 25 years working on tractor trailer trucks and am now pursuing my dream of Photography. I grew up in South Louisiana, lived in Nashville and when I met my wife, we both chased our dreams to the West Coast. We are now living in Los Angeles County. We are happy, healthy, goal-oriented and LOVE being alive. I love the drama of black and white photos, and have color copies of all of my black and whites, so if you see something you like but would like to see it in color--or vice versa--please ask. I aim to please!
