Description
The lighthouse was constructed by the federal government to warn vessels of the bold rocky point. It became crucial point for navigation, and the brightest light on the Southern California coast. The lighthouse is 67 foot tall and towers 197 feet above sea level. The light has 2 million candle light power and can be seen 24 miles out to sea.The lighthouse is one of the most photographed in the world. It has been in television and movies that include "Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck,and Wonder Woman with Lindsey Wagner.
